Hi Rob,

To type in Bulgarian in your PC, in the standard Windows package there is a Bulgarian keyboard. You can just add Bulgarian to your language preferences. However, there are two versions of the Bulgarian keyboard:

- standard, or BDS, short for Bulgarian State Standard

and

- phonetic, which links the closest sounding Bulgarian letter to the standard English keyboard, probably the UK one.

Most young people in Bulgaria are used to use the later one, whereas the generation 30+ might prefer the former one.

Hope this helps! In case of any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,

Cristiane

my keyboard doesn't allow me to type in small letters so when I take a written test it always shows as I fail 😴 is there any way to change this?

Hi Adam,

there is one small peculiarity when it comes to numbers in Bulgarian. When you put 2 in front of a masculine noun, it changes to два, and if it is related to people, it becomes двама:

двама братя - two brothers

два ключа - two keys
