| Now, let's take a look at some conversational phrases! |
| Listen to the dialogue. |
| Къде е супермаркетът? (Kade e supermarketat?) |
| Ето там е. (Eto tam e.) |
| Once more with the English translation. |
| Къде е супермаркетът? (Kade e supermarketat?) |
| “Where is the supermarket?” |
| Ето там е. (Eto tam e.) |
| “It's over there.” |
| First of all you'll need to learn how to say "Where is [place]?" |
| The pattern is: |
| Къде е [place]? (Kade e [place]?) |
| "Where is [place]?". |
| For example: |
| "Where is the supermarket?" |
| Къде е супермаркетът?, Къде е супермаркетът? (Kade e supermarketat?, Kade e supermarketat?) |
| Now, how do you answer this question? |
| Ето там е. (Eto tam e.) |
| "It's over there." |
| Listen to it again: |
| Ето там е., Ето там е. (Eto tam e., Eto tam e.) |
| This Bulgarian sentence translates as "This there is." But it means "It's over there." |
