Hi Nelly,

thank you for your comment. We appreciate your desire to learn Bulgarian.

да се обадя means "to call", and седмица is in feminine, that's why it is more correct to say тази седмица.

We will be able to most effectively help you improve it, if you would leave a comment in English as well.

Kind regards,

Tina

Hi Zlatina,

thank you for your note. Sometimes we do not translated phrases literally, but closest to their most common use. In this case, we introduce "smoking" and "non-smoking" in the case of "non-smoking area". You are correct, "smoking" is пушене. But in the context of a restaurant, it will be most commonly translated as "за пушачи". Can you suggest better translation in this context?

Kind regards,

Tina

You have a mistake!

пушачи = smokers

smoking = пушене

Hi Cameron,

I am not sure about Turkey, but in Bulgarian it is not allowed to smoke on public places. Usually you do not smoke on the train.

Best regards,

Tina

Thank you! I have a question - I am going to take a train from Istanbul to Sofia... Do people smoke onboard?
