Sydney: This is Must-Know Bulgarian Slang Words and Phrases, Season 1, Lesson 5. In this lesson, you'll learn a few abbreviations used in casual conversations.
Sydney: Young people might use abbreviations while they talk. Learn what those mean.
SLANG EXPRESSIONS
Sydney: The expressions you will be learning in this lesson are:

Petar: ДДЗ (Da Da Za)
Petar: ДНК (De En Ka)
Petar: НДП (Na Da Pa)
Sydney: Petar, what's our first expression?
Petar: и т.н. (i ta na)
Sydney: The abbreviation stands for
Petar: i taka natatak,
Sydney: which is literally translated as "etc., and so on." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "and so on."

Petar: ДНК (De En Ka)
Sydney: literally meaning "DNA." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "unpleasant smell or a hair in one's dish."
Petar: [SLOW] ДНК [NORMAL] ДНК

Sydney: Use this slang expression when you find something which might be a fly, an ant, or a hair in your dish, or when the smell is disturbing, as if contaminated by body liquids.
