Sydney: Idioms That Have Nothing To Do With The Regular Meaning of the Words Which Make Them

Sydney: This is Must-Know Bulgarian Slang Words and Phrases, Season 1, Lesson 23. In this lesson, you'll learn idioms that have nothing to do with the regular meaning of the words which make them.
Sydney: Remember these idioms. They are made up of words but they will never follow this particular order when used with their regular meaning.
SLANG EXPRESSIONS
Sydney: The expressions you will be learning in this lesson are:
Petar: загори тенджера (zagori tendzhera)
Petar: гола вода (gola voda)
Petar: легнал полицай (legnal politsay)
Petar: куха лейка (kuha leyka)
Sydney: Petar, what's our first expression?
Petar: загори тенджера (zagori tendzhera)
Sydney: literally meaning "to burn a pot." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "scatterbrained or preoccupied with gossiping."

Sydney: literally meaning "a laying down policeman." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "speed bump."
