Becky: Welcome to 3-Minute Bulgarian Season 1, Lesson 10 - Asking How Much Something Costs. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to ask how much something costs in Bulgarian.

Becky: Here's the way to ask 'How much does this cost?' in Bulgarian.
Petar: [Normal] Колко струва това?
Becky: First is a word meaning 'how much'
Petar: [Normal] колко [Slow] колко (kolko)
Becky: Next is the word meaning 'to cost'
Petar: [Normal] струва [Slow] струва(struva)
Becky: Last is the word meaning 'this'
Petar: [Normal] това [Slow] това(tova)
Becky: Listen again to the question meaning 'How much does this cost?'

Becky: Now, imagine you're speaking to a stranger. Here's the formal way to ask, 'What do I owe?'
