Becky: Now it's time for a quick cultural insight.
Petar: A well-known expression in Bulgaria is Защо не? which means "Why not?" You can use it to accept a proposition that was not planned in advance. For example, if a friend asks you suddenly "Do you want to go to the cinema tonight?", you can say Защо не? which means "Why not?"

Becky: And that’s all for this lesson. Don’t forget to check out the lesson notes, and we’ll see you in the next lesson!
