| Petar: Bulgarians use a lot of words borrowed from other languages, and one of these is used for “Goodbye.”! In Bulgaria, we say "Чао" (Ciao) just like Italians. But unlike Italian, it is used only for saying "Goodbye" and never ever for a "hello". You might hear it used quite often among friends in Bulgaria. Try to say it yourself to your Bulgarian friends! Ciao! |
